Slavic Christians need revival

Dear Slavic “Christian” community, revival is taking place on what we’ve learned to call “God-forsaken college campuses” instead of in our own churches, we should be ashamed of ourselves.

In fact, it’s quite the opposite in our community.

Church leaders are still molesting young women (and boys) and are covering up their sins with generous donations.

We still fight about which denomination and language will get us to heaven.

Instead of uniting in the Spirit, our churches are falling apart because adults act like children and throw tantrums, then storm out when they don’t get their way.

Young women have forgotten their place in the church and instead of helping men out of their designated gender roles, they tell men how to lead their churches.

During our Slavic “revival services,” we have “fun” guest speakers, sexual hookups, and drug deals in the parking lots.

Instead of fearing the Lord and anticipating His presence with reverence, single (and married) women come to these “revivals” looking like prostitutes.

My people look like Elite social VIPs on the outside but are rotting corpses within, just like Christ perceived the Pharisees.

I’m tired of my people carrying themselves like they’re superior because they have money or follow “the latest trends.”

NONE OF THIS EXTERNAL GLAMOUR MATTERS BECAUSE WE DON’T REVERE JESUS INSIDE!!

We don’t have Jesus in our Biblically-empty hearts.

We don’t have Jesus is our prayer-lacking homes.

We don’t have Jesus in our fraudulent business meetings.

We don’t have Jesus in our secret porn-viewing offices at work.

We don’t have Jesus in our insecure minds but are bogged down by destructive lies from the enemy.

WE DON’T HAVE JESUS AS OUR MASTER-HOW DO WE EXPECT A REVIVAL IN OUR CHILDREN, OUR MARRIAGES, OR ON SUNDAY MORNINGS?

I hear people complaining about marriages and children’s behavior but don’t seek enough repentance and Bible reading to change anything about it.

Jeremiah 29:13 says, “…Seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.”

2 Chronicles 7:14 says, “If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray, seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”

We cannot expect God to change America if this is the state of the hearts of the people that call themselves His. If only we knew that sinful and disobedient “Christians” will go to hell just like nonbelievers will on judgment day.

God does not care how much you “do for Him,” He cares about the pure and reverent state of your heart.

Thank God Black football players in OSU and the students at Asbury who still fear God.

Only reverence and repentance brings about revival! We have a lot to learn from these young people and it’s time that we take our eyes off of our superiority and beg for the Savior of the world to “create in us clean hearts” to be worthy of His name.
