Slavic Christians and the value of worship

Dear Slavic Christian,

If you woke up this morning, praise Jesus for His unending mercy toward you, a sinner who needs His grace daily.

If your body was healed from pain or disease, praise him for the healing.

If you are safe and aren’t running for your life, praise Him for His protection.

If you accepted Him as your Master, thank Him for saving you from hell.

To worship your Creator and Savior is as simple as that. It’s to thank Jesus for who He is and acknowledge what He has done for you.

Worship means “expressing reverence, devotion, honor, and adoration.”

Isaiah 61:3 says, “…to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the LORD to display his splendor.”

When we worship, we “put on” strength, hope, and joy, in exchange for hopelessness, self-pity, fear, depression, and anxiety about our circumstances.

Worship is what drowns out the enemy's (satans) lies.

Worship means taking eyes off ourselves and putting them on the One who gave IT ALL so we could be here today: living in freedom to praise Him instead of being persecuted for our faith like millions experience elsewhere.

You will only worship Him when you understand how much He loved you on the Cross.

Revelation 4:8-11 says, “…Day and night they never stop saying:

“‘Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty,’ who was, and is, and is to come.”

Whenever the living creatures give glory, honor, and thanks to him who sits on the throne and who lives forever and ever, the twenty-four elders fall down before him who sits on the throne and worship him who lives forever and ever. They lay their crowns before the throne and say:

“You are worthy, our Lord and God,

to receive glory and honor and power,

for you created all things,

and by your will, they were created

and have their being.”

It is an HONOR to worship the God of Heaven. He is worthy of it all!

Dear one, do you worship Christ as He deserves?

What would happen if you would?

You’d see your mental health improving, for starters. Research shows that individuals who practice their faith have a stronger sense of hope than those who don’t believe in God.

Do you take advantage of the peace that is available to you, or are you still struggling with anxiety, depression, fear, a victim mindset, and don’t want to know a way out?

I’m honest about this topic because it's only when we take our eyes off of ourselves that we see that we ALREADY have victory today. We ALREADY have our daily bread today. We ALREADY have our names written in the Book of Life today. Dear one, I don't know what will make you worship God if these truths aren’t insufficient to make you worship Him.
