Slavic Christian, your power lies in your tongue

Everything you have, or don’t have, have happened because of your words, which are driven by your thoughts. Y

our thoughts about yourself–the truth or lies you’ve believed, have made or broken you. No one else’s. There is no one else to blame.

Scripture says, “The power of life and death are in the tongue.” (Proverbs 18:21)

Dear one, how are you speaking to yourself, your spouse, children, parents, and others?

Are you life-giving or do you curse?

If your body, mind, spirit, and surroundings are joyful, you’re on the right track by speaking life and are reaping it.

If you’re miserable, then you must be speaking death.

There’s no middle ground.

If you’re on the wrong track and want to know how to change your words, I’d be more than happy to help you do that in therapy. I use an incredible therapy model called Cognitive Behavioral Therapy that helps you change your life by starting with your thoughts.

How long will you choose to believe the lies and live like the victim satan wants you to think you are, instead of living as a victorious child of the King that Christ redeemed you to be?

You hold offenses because of your perception of being hurt by God and others.

You can’t forgive, and that has stolen your peace.

You self-isolate and look down on others.

All the while feeling miserable because you miss how joyful, loving, peaceful, etc., you used to be.

The change starts in your mind.

When you start from the top down like that, your feelings and actions follow.

I’m here whenever you’re ready to watch your life turn around.

…I share this because you may be in the same boat as I was: bitter, unforgiving, and disappointed, etc., only to realize that what you’re longing for has nothing to do with any of that, but with Who you still don’t trust as your Savior.

All of the pain you’re holding inside can be replaced by the love you crave.

You can run from everyone but yourself. You can “fake it”: pretend you’re fine with your masks, but eventually, fear, low self-worth, insecurities, and self-hatred will catch up with you.

Come to therapy so you can start healing and have your abundant life back.

I know what this feels like because I’ve been there. When God placed the words “Freedom in Christ” as “Words of the year,” I never imagined how that would unfold for 2026.

I started the year off depressed, bitter, disappointed, and hopeless in Him, myself, and the people around me—but I clung to these words for hope of change.

The question is, are you tired of carrying the emotional burdens yet, and are you willing to let it go so you can live a life of freedom in your body, mind, and spirit, as He created you to?

If you are, and live in WA, SC, FL, or ID, I’d be happy to help you every step of the way.
