Slavic Christian when will you love yourself like Jesus does?

Ladies, if you don’t accept Christ’s love, being a size 2 won’t help you love yourself more. Getting married won’t help, and having children won’t either. Making 6-figures won’t satisfy. Drinking, drugs, traveling, partying, and living on your own won’t either. When will you stop pushing away the ONLY love that can satisfy?

Think about this—you’re willing to gain the whole world, at the expense of your soul.

You bought the lie that looking good on the outside will make you happy.

That couldn’t be farther from the truth.

If Jesus’ love isn’t enough, you’ll always be hungry, chasing empty pleasures—until you hit rock bottom.

He’ll be there to meet you if that’s what it takes, but don’t wait for that, because for some people, it might also be too late.

Dear one, when will you open your heart to God’s love and to others'?

When will you accept that He loves you so much that He gave up His life on your behalf? Until then, you’ll suffer with your victim mentality, thinking God disappointed you, that people let you down, that you’re not deserving of anything good. Meanwhile, you think that controlling things externally is the answer, so you binge or starve yourself. You perform and over-achieve to earn love.

…Meanwhile, satan will be thrilled as you wither away, body, mind, and spirit, instead of thriving like a child of the King.

Stop running.

Come to therapy so you can start healing and have your abundant life back.

I know what this feels like because I’ve been there. When God placed the words “Freedom in Christ” as “Words of the year,” I never imagined how that would unfold for 2026.

I started the year off depressed, bitter, disappointed, and hopeless in Him, myself, and the people around me—but I clung to these words for hope of change.

He began to work by healing my body first.

I was 40+ pounds overweight due to my recent pregnancy, and my body felt it.

I was tired of criticizing myself, my joints hurt, and I binged frequently.

I thought diets and exercise could help, and tried several, without lasting changes.

Then I stumbled upon a social media account that shared a life-changing concept, “intuitive eating.”

This young woman taught that our body is a reflection of our mind, and when we use food to comfort us, the result manifests externally.

Given my stubborn nature, I decided to embark on a seven-day journey to practice the skills taught in her masterclass and see if I could prove her wrong. I didn’t believe the changes could happen with the simple theory she had: eating only when you’re hungry, not eating when you’re emotional, eating only until the feelings of hunger go away, and engaging in other behaviors that make you happy besides eating.

After practicing this for longer than I intended, I’m here to tell you that her method worked! I have not only lost 47 pounds in the last 24 weeks but also learned much about myself and become stronger in my faith.

God revealed that the root of my problems was never food, but a misplaced identity apart from Him. I found my worth in cooking for people, exploring eccentric recipes, and going on adventures centered around food—only to be left empty.

I was chasing dopamine highs instead of Him.

…I share this because you may be in the same boat as I was: bitter, unforgiving, and disappointed, only to realize that what you’re longing for has nothing to do with any of that, but with Who you still don’t trust as your Savior.

All of the pain you’re holding inside can be replaced by the love you crave.

You can run from everyone but yourself. You can “fake it”: pretend you’re fine with your masks, but eventually, your bitterness, fear, low self-worth, insecurities, and self-hatred will catch up with you.

Are you tired of carrying the emotional weight yet, and are you willing to let it go so you can live a life of freedom in your body, mind, and spirit, as He created you to?

If you are, and live in WA, SC, FL, or ID, I’d be happy to help you every step of the way.
